How do plastic bottles become clothes?

One of the things we're most proud of here at Sensi Swim is our commitment to incorporating sustainability into everything we do. 

We utilize fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles and reclaimed fishing nets to create beautiful, sustainable swimwear that looks and feels amazing. So how the heck does that work?

We've partnered with Repreve© to provide performance fabrics that are built on sustainability. 

Here's how it works:

1. Plastic bottles are sorted, washed and chopped into bits. 

2. The bits are blended, melted and turned into Repreve recycled chip. Then the chip enters the extrusion process and gets transformed into fiber. Repreve is the only fiber with utrust which certifies recycled content claims through traceable fiber-print technology. 

3. We buy fabrics made with these recycled fibers.

4. We design, cut, sew and deliver to you!
